    I have similar issues, but a blank green screen instead of flashing.. but even more often than the green screen, I get (at apparent random times) a message along the lines of: this video can not be decoded.. or some such thing. I can't make it do it at the
    moment (though it was doing it 10 minutes ago) to write the exact error message.

    Also, when I got here, at the bottom of the page said something like "did this help you?" - I clicked no, and it went away. How could it have helped me when there aren't any replies!!?!

    Any help or suggestions appreciated.

    Mine has been stuck on the green screen for hours I have tried unconnecting power and reseting but is still stuck on the green screen. is this possibly green screen of death?

    factory reset     on your console while keeping your games and apps.

    1. Press the Xbox button
      to open the guide.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select All Settings.
    4. Select System.
    5. Select Console info & updates.
    6. Select Reset console.

    Man that's a bit extreme. I could recommend a good shrink if you really need someone to talk too! Or we could just go for a group hug or something.

    On my xbox, my screen kept on going green or pink. Ended up being a loose port on my tv. Follow the above and you should be fine.

    Yeah, I've had that before, here's what you do: Just install the game onto your console and that worked for me so it should work for you too.

    i would take all of what say said below under considerations , however try to go xbox , System > Console > select storage device > highlight the hard drive and click Y and clear cache i dunno if it still the same as am saying but thats should fresh up the
    xbox side also next to what the guys said below , good luck .
