    Green Screen


    I upgraded My Minecraft to the XBox One for $5.00 USD. One day after that, I received the Green Screen of Death. I went to Tech Support first, the tech support guy said it was their fault (Microsoft Company) and I need to either replace the console via
    Microsoft or replace my HDMI cable. I'm cool, both are cheap. So after being on the phone with him for approx. an hour, I decided to see the default HDMI from DAY ONE launch works for the 360, it does. It wasn't my HDMI. I figured it was the system update
    (current for xb1). So after trying literally for 10 hours to fix it, 2 hours of searching for a answer on the web, and tried a YouTube vid fix, after 5 hours of trying everything else. I just gave up. Because of this, I will no-longer play any form of VIDEO
    game. The only game I play is Solitaire either PC or an actual deck. The only thing I didn't do is use a hammer!! So as I am posting this, I am using the HDD Eraser for the XBox to make it final. I have been gaming since the Intellivison (Mattel Console from
    the late 70s - 80s). I quit, I just quit.

    I would try contacting support to diagnose whether this is a hardware failure or a connection problem:

    support.xbox.com/.../contact-us

    If they determine that you do have a hardware failure, they will instruct you how to submit a console repair request. This will all be covered under your warranty since you purchased a brand new machine.

    You didn't try sending your xbox in for repairs.

    Man that's a bit extreme. I could recommend a good shrink if you really need someone to talk too! Or we could just go for a group hug or something.

    On my xbox, my screen kept on going green or pink. Ended up being a loose port on my tv. Follow the above and you should be fine.

    Yeah, I've had that before, here's what you do: Just install the game onto your console and that worked for me so it should work for you too.

    i would take all of what say said below under considerations , however try to go xbox , System > Console > select storage device > highlight the hard drive and click Y and clear cache i dunno if it still the same as am saying but thats should fresh up the
    xbox side also next to what the guys said below , good luck .
