green screen crash need new update for fix

As the system will not allow me to get in as it keeps crashing after doing the Xbox screen, that option is not available to get to

Third time i tried with the Xbox repowering up, the green screen changed to the black screen with the screeching sound before it got to the sign in screen

With this new update that came down, is there any issues that are being found? I found an update for the October 19th 2022 issues that sound like it is similar yet not about the system crashing

Yea, I have been having the same problem since a small update that came down this week. Xbox Fitness loads to the green screen with the loading dots but the crashed back to the main screen.

Same issue for me! Once update from win8 pro to win8.1 pro, minesweeper always crashes on start. Green screen with minesweeper and MS logo, and then back to desktop.

Hello everyone,

If your console is crashing and showing a Green Screen, please follow the steps below:

1. Make sure that your console is updated to the newest build (2204 at time of writing) by going to Settings > System > Updates and pulling it directly from there
   
2. Make sure that you have the Report a Problem app downloaded to your console
   
3. Please hold the Nexus button (Xbox Button) down on your controller until it opens the "What do you want to do?" dialog box
   
4. Select "Report a Problem", which is located to the right of "Close"
   
5. Select "Report new problem"
   
6. Select "Reproduce with tracing"
   
7. From the dropdown menu, change "Media issues" to "Performance" and select "Start trace"
   
8. Press "Continue"
   
9. Reproduce the issue (i.e, launch the game that causes the Green Screen crash or any other activity that causes the Green Screen crash)
   
10. After the crash, please hold the Nexus button until the "New problem report" dialog box appears.
    
    1. If the "New problem report" dialog box did NOT appear, then you did not successfully complete the "Reproduce with tracing" steps. Please repeat steps 1-7 and try again
       
11. In the "Title" field, please type this exactly: "Green Screen Console Crash" and include your Gamertag at the end
    
    1. Ex. "Green Screen Console Crash - JohnDoe"
       
12. Fill out the remaining sections to the best of your ability, be as detailed as possible
    
13. Select "Submit"
    

The more people that can report this the better. To avoid personally identifiable information (PII) from being shared, please reply to this response simply saying that you have completed the report. I will have our engineers keep their eyes out for these reports.
