  1. Green/pixelated screen on game startup when Dolby vision is enabled

I'm in Alpha Skip Ahead and cam confirm no hardware issues, but am either having no signal when enabling Dolby Vision, or periodically having games launch with a pixelate screen with a large green band at the top (or green and black) when Dolby Vision is enabled. This was not an issue until this week so I assume it's related to the preview build. Series X on a 4K HDMI 2.0 tv for reference

Dolby Vision - Blu-ray player app

Of course the Blu-Ray disks I'm using are UHD and have Dolby Vision.

Dolby Vision is enabled on Xbox One X settings, TV HDMI ports are in Enhanced mode (4:4:4 4K/UHD HDR 60Hz), and the TV test (that can be found inside Xbox menu) returns all green ticks for my Xbox-to-TV connection.

As said, Dolby Vision works with all streaming apps... but not when playing Blu-Ray UHD Dolby Vision disks.

green flickers when going to dashboard.xbox series x

On your console display settings, is HDR and Dolby Vision enabled?

Most people that get flickers on the screen (both playing or only on the dashboard) with Dolby Vision on is because both HDR and Dolby Vision are enabled at the same time.

Just try to turn HDR off and see if it solves your problem. If it does, unfortunately we will not be able to do much about it. It's a bug reported by some people and the only option would be use HDR or Dolby Vision, not both at the same time :(

Xbox Series X Allow Dolby Vision/Dolby for Gaming and Allow Auto Low Latency Mode

Hi thanks I have played with this for sometime, There is a green check mark by ALLM. ALLM is supported by a 2.0. 2.1 hdmi only exception is no 60@120hz.

HDR10 is also has a green check without a 2.1 input there are no limitations as my input during game indicate HDR10 is working. I can do this by checking my inputrs throught TV settings (Auto select for 2.0 enables ALLM Feature on My TV). Dolby Vision for games does not work when ALLM is enabled.

Everything is green on 4K EXCEPT for 120hz because of the lack of 2.1 port. When I turn off ALLM through XBOX setting Dolby vision works.

Dolby Vision gaming Xbox series X

I just started seeing this same warning on my LG C1 as well. Before this most recent update, I also had full green checkboxes down this screen.

I haven’t noticed any increased input latency thankfully. As long as game mode is enabled on my TV, Dolby Vision at 4K 120Hz still feels almost instantaneous.
