    I keep getting green lines apearing all over my screen at first i thought my new moniter had broke however i plugged it into my tv downstairs and used a different hdmi thinking it would work but it did not. The green lines are still here and ive tried changing the settings but none of that seems to work all that acomplished was correcting the resolution. Not to mention when i set the dis play to automatically overide there isnt any signal on ny tv but there is on my moniter

    I just used a different hdmi cable on the tv and it has improved but there are still lots of lines

    It could be that your TV is too old that can't run your game

    Check your HDMI cables output and your Console HDMI input and see if the gold connecter pins have been striped or corroded. If either are fine then can you tell what kind of TV have?

    At this point, it does indeed sound like a hardware issue.
    I would suggest setting up a repair here:

    i can watch tv on it and its all fine but when I play the game it gets the green lines. im starting to think its the xbox help :(
