    Green dots when using a Binary™ 320 Series 1080p over 1CAT Extender with IR


    Anyway to correct this issue? All my other devices work fine but for some reason my xbox one show green dots. Attached is a photo of what it looks like .

    I have tried a hard boot, tested my cables - all ok. When I direct connect no issues and no issue when at 720p connecting through the B-320. But, when I go to 1080p through the B-320 the green dots come back.

    Kinect renders 300$ headset useless...

    yeah, I don't have much of a choice. the Kinect 2.0 blasts a wall of ir light for reading, the Kinect 1.0 blasts a wall of dots for reading.

    The Kinect 2.0's ir is constantly flickering and the flickering matches the rumbling blasts intervals when I use the headset.

    I dot think there could ever be a solution.

    im able to see the ir light using the night vision on my camcorder .

    Changing channel problems with Cisco RNG150 even with IR extender

    In case someone sees this, if you are using an IR extender/receiver for Comcast RNG 150 be aware that unlike most cable boxes it does not turn off its own IR receiver. My original problem was that signal was being received by both the IR extender and IR
    receiver on the box itself. I covered up the front and top of the cable box and now changing channels works perfectly.

    Hi

    If you are not suffering this issue with he console connected directly to the television/projector would make me think the issue may be with the B-320 or your getting noise/interference on the network cabling.

    Have you checked if there is possibly a firmaware update available for the B-320 that may resolve this issue.

    I haven't checked on the newer Xbox One models (i.e. the S and X models), but the original Xbox One had an IR extender plug on the backside, where you could connect an IR Extender, and run the cable inside a cabinet to control the devices that are otherwise
    unreachable for the IR signal sent out by the IR blaster of the console or Kinect.

    If your console has such an IR extender plug, you can simply use such an extender and route the cable for that extender from where your console is to near the IR receptor on your TV.

    The remote controls TV/receiver power and volume through Kinect, or an IR extender cable (cable not included).

    You need Kinect or IR Extenders.
