Green Boot Screen - then BLACK

My Xbox One will not boot to the start screen anymore. All it does now is boot to the Green Screen for about 30 seconds then turns black. I've tried unplugging the power in various combos and even the offline tool with USB stick. Nothing works. MS told
me to send it in for repair @ $115. I already spent $550+ on it not to mention all the games and a few accessories. It broke at 18 months.

Same boat here. Green boot-up screen then black screen. Press the home button and you'll get some dialogue.

my Xbox boots up and then after the green screen it goes black what do I do?

 

Here are a few things to try:

Your screen is blank after you power on the console

•Confirm that both your TV and Xbox One console are powered on.

•Check that your TV is set to the proper input signal (HDMI).

•Check that the HDMI cable connection to your console is secure.

•Check that the HDMI cable connection to your TV is secure.

•Perform a cold boot on your Xbox One console by holding the power button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds, and then power on again.

•Reset your display settings. Here's how: 1.If there’s a disc in the Xbox One console, eject it.

2.On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for five seconds to turn off the console.

3.Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console.

Note This will boot your console in a low resolution mode (640 × 480). To reset these settings again, press the Menu button, select Settings, and then select Display & sound.

•Try plugging the HDMI cable into a different HDMI port on your TV.

•Try using a different HDMI cable to connect your console to your TV.

•Try connecting your console to a different TV.

Hey i'm having the same issue my console goes to boot on the green screen takes like 5 minutes then doesn't load up the dashboard and its a pure black screen and it's not a wire issue because the screen is still connected to the xbox

 

I had the same Issues and most. I tried all the suggested fixes with nothing. I finally was able to get things working again by doing the off-line factory defaulting my Xbox One. Another note: If I let the system continue it would load but took over an hour.
This was the only thing that worked for me. This will wipe everything on the internal HDD.
