    Tips on playing MS Treasure Hunt. Before these tips, my game crashed taking me from 15 of each to 2 of each. I am now up to Level 61, I have a 5 heart and 30 of each tool. Check this link: Go to this blog

    Backup this file "TreasureHuntProgress.bin.ark" after every milestone and you can restore to return to that point! ‪

    Unhide your folders to find this on your Windows PC:

    C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftTreasureHunt_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState\TreasureHuntProgress.bin.ark

    Create backup folder, call that folder THunt & put it on your Desktop.

    create folder C:\Users\ YourUserName \Desktop\THunt

    Next create a shortcut onto your Desktop to the following UNHIDDEN folder.

    C:\Users\YourUserName \AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftTreasureHunt_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalState

    Upon exiting game & closing game at each level or when you want to backup incase of MS THunt crashes, you'll save the file

    "TreasureHuntProgress.bin.ark" into your THunt folder.

    C:\Users\ YourUserName \Desktop\THunt\GameBack-A1-Level25\TreasureHuntProgress.bin.ark

    C:\Users\ YourUserName \Desktop\THunt\GameBack-A2-Level25\TreasureHuntProgress.bin.ark

    C:\Users\ YourUserName \Desktop\THunt\GameBack-A3-Level26\TreasureHuntProgress.bin.ark

    C:\Users\ YourUserName \Desktop\THunt\GameBack-A4-Level26-good-so-far\TreasureHuntProgress.bin.ark

    etc. You can make your own naming conventions. In a separate folder make a shortcut to your Captures folder. When playing your game, record it. If you crash or have problems, you can analyze what went wrong. You can go back to an earlier game if something
    happens such as a crashes, etc.

    Close app IE game before copying Close session IE splash screen before restoring.

    Stuff in openable chests different for everyone's game??

    Don't forget about the special Lockpick perk (Treasure Hunter - Lockpicking lvl 70 required) which gives you 50% greater chance to find special treasure. That factors in to what you may find.

    Treasure Hunt läßt sich von einem Tag auf den anderen nicht mehr spielen. Alle anderen Spiele gehen einwandfrei. Zum spielen bin ich online.

    Everything I've seen has been disappointingly repetitive. Diving bell, gather treasure, explore underwater cave, hunt sharks, island, view points, assassinations, recruit, ship combat, diving bell, gather treasure, explore underwater cave, hunt sharks, island,
    view points, assassinations.... etc.

    I'd love to be wrong though. If I get this I will be so, so scared to play the underwater bits and the hunting Great Whites. It looks freaky as hell.

    Microsoft Treasure Hunt right side of the screen is cut off.

    Me too! Display was fine before Windows 10 upgrade. Now the only way to finish a game is to switch to portrait view on my tablet where it will scroll to the level exit tile, only the game board frame is cut off. The MS Minesweeper "Adventure" board, which
    is the same as the Treasure Hunt board, displays correctly, but the game is boring. Hope MS fixes Treasure Hunt soon, but seems like no one is making it a priority.

    ^^Yeah, the survival modes are better than the treasure hunt ones IMHO. Id rather just camp and kill some zombies, then do all the treasure hunt stuff, but again, variety is good.
