Great news for Pinball Arcade fans

Funny, the PS 4 got a disc version of "Child Of Light" as well.

I suppose when you're behind in the "Next Gen" games department you need to be able to claim all the titles you can get.

 

I really enjoy pinball machines - Adams would be a fun one for sure (I liked it much more than Twilight zone).

A good selection of *real* pins would be great for the xbox arcade though.

@GreyMittens - Seriously jealous!! I wish I had the room and the cash to buy some pinball machines. Star Trek the Next Generation would be at the top of the list, followed by The Addams Family.

 

@eviltedi - There's no Kiss table yet, I'm quite Jelly of your Kiss table ownership to be honest. The PS4 version wasn't easy for me to find on disc btw. It is a better deal since you got all the tables for less $ then the digital dl. In the Xb1 release
I'll get the hard copy if it's there.

 

@GreyMittens - Double post thanks to the awesome forum options, I noticed you've also got possibly the best co-op arcade game beside your Pinballs, I wouldn't leave this room until the pinballs are clocked and BB completed with 2 players.

 

@ZombieDeano - ST:TNG was my first pin and the one I spent the most time and money playing when I was in high school. Just loved that game, and still do. It is still the one I play the most On a semi related note, I see you are a fan of Idiot Abroad.
Did you ever watch extras? Hilarious - if not, go to you tube and search 'Patrick Stweart Extras'. Brilliant.

@ RedEye Expr3ss - BB was the first of my entire collection. I had a super unhealthy obsession with that game since it came out I think in 1986 It is without a doubt the best co-op arcade game on Earth. It's also great to get a 'true happy ending'
(That sounds bad now though )

St:TNG was my first pin, followed by LOTR, then Avatar was a gift for the wife (she loved the movie ) and then ToM was also her request.... didn't want to argue with her on that one

I can't think I've how many times I would skip whatever I was doing to go into town and play BB or SBB. It was an American tourist in Sydney that taught me the title screen codes. That unhealthy obsession went on until the machines broke.

That's a shame, I shall be looking into a way to suggest that to the developers, a Kiss pack in game or DLC, either would do,

About the SS machines you mentioned, it seems they were done for the German market, makes sense as Nazi insignia like the Swaztika and SS lightning bolts are banned there, they are expensive though.

 

@GreyMittens - Massive fan of Ricky Gervais, Steven Merchant & Karl Pilkington. Love Extras and the 'extras' from Extras lol! Their podcasts and the X-FM shows they did are just the funniest recordings I've ever heard. I can listen to them endlessly.

Great news but unfortunately there is no discount for tables purchased on the 360. This is disappointing, I bought a load of tables on the 360 version! Might just wait for Pinball arcade.

 

I loved Pinball FX2 on the Xbox 360, but I rarely played it - Pinball just isn't my thing I guess...

 

Thanks for that link, I will get it, pity about the 360 tables, but it comes with one for free, that will keep me interested, and I'll add another couple, they're pretty cheap anyway.

 

was looking through the list and got excited when i "Doctor.." and then not excited with i saw "Strange"...

my wife's father owned a arcade years ago, and when it went under she kept a Doctor Who pinball machine, great machine, but the time expander stopped working and super expensive to fix ;(

 

I just heard pinball fx is coming to x1, this was best news I'd heard in ages until I also learn that none of my tables from xbox 360 version of 1 or 2 will transfer over and I'm expected to pay all over again.

Total rip off and the worst news I've heard in ages

 

As good as it was, Pinball FX has always been a ripoff. The fact that you have to pay for EVERY. SINGLE. TABLE. says all you need to know.
