Graphics Card update on xbox one

@Farscape actually it is a bit more powerful as it will have much better graphics card in it in order to render 4K. It will be able to stream in 4K as well as play some games in it even though some of them may be up scaled. Then we will get Scorpio which
is essentially a true gaming PC with 4K and VR capabilities the following year.

 

^ 6tflop a true 4k gaming pc does not make, but no seriously try playing the witcher 3 on ultra at 4k on a card that's circa 6tflop like a r390x, there's a reason I have two ones just not enough.

 

@FullHornet thats incorrect, the xbox one s, that releases in august will stream 4K content and have a 4K Bluray disc drive as well as an IR blaster and bluetooth built into the controllers, there will be no 4K gaming upscalled or native!!

Project scorpio is where you will get the upgraded gpu, with 6TFLOPs of power 320GB/s of memory bandwidth.

An 8-core CPU and will render uncompressed 4K games without having to upscale the resolution.

Im curious about Scorpio, if it's still an Xbox One how will the games play on the standard X1? Or will there be like "Scorpio required" games?

I mean I'm sure i'll get one none the less.

The slim meh, looks nice and the bigger harddrive is rad but I see no real reason to upgrade when I can just get an external HDD for cheaper.

Plus i'm not a fan of the white consoles, I prefer the black tbh.

 

personally for myself I won't waste my money on the S instead i'll just wait until the scorpio comes out next year
