Graphics Card Issue?

When I logged on today, my screen colors had a green halo around certain objects and green stripes through the objects in the games. It appeared in all screens but was most obvious in Destiny. Note the green stripes on Saturn and around the sun.

What I tried to fix it:

Hard restart

Replace the HDMI cable with a new one

Hook the HDMI cable directly into the TV.

Record a clip and upload it to OneDrive. It appeared normal (no green)

Another hard restart.

Is this a common problem? Is there a fix? Is it a graphics card issue? Does it have to be sent in for repairs?

My Windows 10 update doesn't have DX12

Are you sure that your graphics card supports DX12? The i5-2450M is 4 years old an has a Intel HD 3000. If your graphics card doesn't support DX12, Windows can't use it. If you want to use DX12, you need a graphics card supporting it.

 

FPS in games

Make sure everything on your Computer is up to date, especially your Graphics Card. There may be an optimisation setting in your Graphics Card Settings.

And have you tried a different Tv / Monitor too see if it's the Tv and not the console.
