Graphically problems

Is anyone else having serious graphically problems with the game?

I have jaggys pretty much everywhere, textures missing. Cut scenes make the characters spikey, like a sea urchin.

Its not as bad in open areas, but buildings are terrible and the smaller the room the worse it gets. Its also fine when I first load a game but as soon as I start moving the problems start to appear.

I've tried uninstalling it, and played it with and without the day one patch and nothing seems to help.

Ive also tried other games (halo, dying light and Dragon age) and none of those seem to have the problem so i dont think its my xbox.

Sadly I've ordered this online so I cant just walk into a shop and swap it for a new disc. So before I send it back I'm trying to find out if this is a problem with just my copy of the game or if other people are suffering from similar problems in which
case it might get patched.

Any help anyone could give me would be great.

Graphics problem with L4D2?

Talking about the console version here...

I really don't know what this is supposed to be, but the graphics and textures on Left 4 Dead 2 are just screwed up, lol

The game basically looks like fucking candy land for christ sake; the rails and objects in the game are rainbow colored, and unless you get up real close to the specific object (like a rail in this case), then from a distance it'l really messed up. One of the trucks today had a faded, puke green consistency to it.

Yeahh..

I initially thought this was all a mod, but it has become progressively worse. Just today, Coach's head was rainbow colored, and I couldn't even see his actual face, he looked like fucking slenderman, only with a sharp rainbow palette. Like what the hell is going on?

Has anyone else encountered this problem? EVERY game I have works fine, but this one.

Would installing this game to my console prevent the bizarre, unnatural colors from appearing?

 

I can't even play the game. It's stuck on the Title Screen, saying "Please wait...".

 

Ya I've seen graphical stutterness in combat and Also audio

Breakage in the cutscenes at the beginning hopefully

They can patch this

 

Ive now tried my copy of the game on a friends console and it worked fine.

So I'm under the impression that my Xbox GPU is breaking.

Im going to swap my game for the PS4 version and wait for the xbox one slim to come out, as long as it keeps playing my older games I happy.

 

That's crazy yrag86, I have never seen a graphical issue with those symptoms. Thanks for posting the video

 

Sounds like you encountered a pretty nasty bug. But it doesn't seem to be the Xbox One causing the issue, if none of your other games exhibit the issue. Have you tried starting a new game and seeing if that fixes the issue?

 

I tried everything, Uninstalling and reinstalling. Even reset my xbox to the default factory settings nothing worked.

Normally I would agree and say its a faulty disc, but I went round a mates house and tried it on his console and it worked no problem, So I can only assume that my xbox is the problem. To be honest the game was really making my xbox heat up. More than any
other game I've played.

As my console ran out of warranty and so far its the only game I've had issues with Im going to just wait and see what happens. Fingers crossed nothing like that happens again.

I have the same problem . tried everything . also the offline update . nothing has helped

 

Wow, that was weird. I'd post that to CDPR on Twitter and see what they say. I haven't had any graphical issues. Just slight stuttering in the opening cutscene and audio breakups here and there.

 

I've posted this onto the CDPR forums, still waiting for a response.

 

I don't have jaggies all around or the likes but I have had Geralt's gear stretch. I also have framerate drops and the cutscenes have their issues as well with the people's hands twitching etc. every now and them. Also, some gear is poorly rendered for cutscenes
and you see through it. But nothing as weird as those cutscenes , that's pretty crazy. Hopefully a patch will fix these issues.

 

I've had a few graphical issues myself, though not as interesting as yours!

I have graphical and audio stuttering throughout cutscenes and gameplay. Panning and moving the camera moves at an inconsistent rate. Also there are times when it seems the game just slows down altogether; where both the audio and the screen just seems to
give up. The audio gets garbled and the screen starts juddering bigtime; making everything seem slow for a few seconds - as if the console is puttering along.

Sad really. It's a great game; and I am tempted to play the game on another platform because I don't want to miss out... Sad. Hopefully this can be addressed soon, either with Microsoft's help or over at CD Projekt Red.

When I look at another high-end game like Destiny on Xbox One - it runs fine.

 

Ah yes, like I mentioned, the framerate drps. I've had those moments when it's all slooooooooomooooooo and sometimes it gets fixed, a couple of times the game has just frozen (not the console, tho, just the game). I'm sure a lot of these issues can be patched.
It's not like we bought a game that requires higher specs than what our machines have. Well, at least not unless Projekt messed up at some point, that is.
