Graphical artefacts appears while the game scene is indoors or dark

Hello everyone,

I have a display problem on Forza 7 when the scene is indoors (garage for example) or outdoors in low light.

In the case of an interior scene, the bug displays in oblique dashed parallel bars on the cars and the driver's outfits (see Photos). When it's outside, we see these same bars appear on the halo of light
of the headlights of the car.

FYI, I play on a TV 4K HDR (Samsung model 2017, HDMI UHD color activated on the port to which the console is connected), the console is also configured in 4K with HDR.

I first thought of a bug due to TV and bad management of 4K / HDR, so I did a lot of test:

- Switching the console to 1080p

- Changing HDMI cable

- Disabling HDR and so on

- Hard reset of the console (OS + games)

In the end, I tried to connect the console to a classic 1080p PC screen (in HDMI, no HDR, console set to 1080) and this display concern is still present.

I also tried to capture some game scenes thanks to the built in capture feature of the console and play the clip on my computer but the result is the same...

I conclude that this problem comes from the Xbox side. That's why I would like to know:

Have you ever encountered this kind of graphic artifacts on Forza or another game (I had the same problem on R. o. t. Tomb Raider, Monster Hunter World)? And if so, do you have a solution?

I even come to wonder if my console is not in question but FYI, in AC origins, no problem encountered ...

GTA V - Jagged edges (Grapic)

You're going to get some graphical artefacts / jagged edges etc no matter what you do. I would imagine that due to the sheer size of the game world that some compromises have to be made between performance and quality.

i opened a service required no.1391198707 for graphical artefacts on Battlefield 1 and i'm very very dissapointed because it's the 4th times in a short time i have problems with this console buy in last october.

If your not getting artifact on every game your playing I doubt this is a hardware issue, as artifacts would be appearing all over the place.

Is this happening mostly when the system is under load? Could be over heating, make sure its in a well ventilated area.

Lastly it could be a bug with the game itself, checking the games forums to see if other people are getting these issues could confirm its the game and not your Xbox.

Lastly, have you tried to reinstall the game to make sure there are no bad data in the game files.

I also first thought to a software problem but it is very strange.

This is always happening. For instance in Forza, the artifact issue appears even when I just started the console and the game, even before playing any race (in the garage). The console is in a well ventilated area and isn't hot at all.

I already checked the games dedicated forums but couldn't find any help. It seems like I am the only one to face this problem...

And yes I tried de reset the console and reinstall all the games twice but it won't solve the problem.

Do you have any other idea?
