Graphical anomalies

I've just turned on my xbox one console to find that the dashboard is covered in red (no, my theme isnt normally red). Basically, everything that should be a white colour has red markings on it (looks like it's bleeding).

I fear that it is a fatal gpu problem (as I had a similar thing happen to a 360 many years ago) but I hoping that it can be resolved without sending yet another console for repair.

Any ideas?

Xbox crashing and glitching

Hi Sorry about your issue.

Sounds like a hardware fault with the consoles graphics hardware. I couldn't find any videos for FIFA, but if your console is displaying kinds of graphical anomalies in your
games, you'll need to contact Xbox Support and request a repair.

Worst game I have gotten for the X1.

Although I have seen some graphical anomalies in this game, they are nothing truly game-breaking or annoying. Nothing's perfect, OP, so I wouldn't stress out about it too much if I were you. However, if you believe it bothers you that much, I would recommend
contacting the developers so they're aware of the issues & can take steps towards fixing it in a future patch or something.

Hello

Before sending it off to repair could you try the following steps ?

Your screen is blank after you turn on the console

Confirm that both your TV and Xbox One console are turned on.

Check that your TV is set to the correct input signal (HDMI).

Check that the HDMI cable connection to your console is secure.

Check that the HDMI cable connection to your TV is secure.

Check that the HDMI cable is connected to the "out to TV" port on the console.

Perform a cold boot on your Xbox One console by holding the power button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds, and then turn it on again.

Reset your display settings. Here's how:

If there's a disc in the Xbox One console, eject it.

On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for five seconds to turn off the console.

Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You will hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. DO NOT LET GO until
the second beep occurs.

Note This will boot your console in low resolution mode (640 × 480). To reset this setting, go to
Settings in the guide, select Display & sounds, Video options,
and then TV Resolution.

If you are required to complete these steps on every boot-up, you will want to change your TV connection to HDMI as shown in step 3 in the next section, "Your screen is blank and you use an AVR in your setup." For more information, see How
to adjust the display settings on your Xbox One console.

Try plugging the HDMI cable into a different HDMI port on your TV.

Try using a different HDMI cable to connect your console to your TV.

Try connecting your console to a different TV.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regard to your concern.

I have here steps that we can try, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

POWERCYCLE CONSOLE

1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off.

2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller.

If that didn't work resetting the console keeping games and apps will be the next option. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Press the Xbox button to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info.

Select Reset console.

Reset and keep my games & apps.
