Graphic card apparently supported - can't use DVR to record

Aha... so I'm not the only one with this problem.

Radeon HD 7800 here. Latest drivers installed.

Disappointment abounds.

 

Also have the same problem. I have a R9 280X.

 

I'm yet another experiencing this problem.

I have an "AMD Radeon R9 200 / HD 7900 Series" graphics card (according to Device Manager) which is also in the list of requirements.

I did chat to MS support about this, which suggested I post the issue in a dead forum :S

They did get me to try updating graphics drivers, uninstalling the XBox App (using PowerShell) then reinstalling it, and finally checking if Windows is up to date (which it was). None worked.

The final suggestion was to reformat the harddrive, which isn't really an option for me. Especially when seeing that others have the same problem, it's not my PC.

I also have this issue, HD 7970 installed.

 

FUNNY how a MOD ........ can DELETE a feedback idea, BUT can't find the time to find out IF / WHEN Microsoft will be DEALING with OUR particular PROBLEM.

 

Sorry, but OUR problem has been ONGOING since the FIRST download of WINDOWS 10 to PC.

YET, Microsoft nor their "most helpful and comprehensive forums created for the public.", has YET to comment on it. If MOD's would just look, this is NOT JUST a handful of customers, BUT, a substantial customer base.

BUT......................... I guess...................... Microsoft would rather FORCE (if media is to be believed) people to install Windows 10, .............. THAN ............ to spend time ..... FIXING it so WE could have "rave reviews" for those who
are 'lagging" to install it .

I (for one), have stopped telling my customers to "install" it.

Why bother, when they can't FIX the problems that exist on the Computers running it ?

I thought maybe after the update for Xbox and the Xbox App it might work... nope. Come on Microsoft, there might just be a few people posting in this thread, but there are other threads, and loads of other people with the same problem. It can't be our computers...

If a mod sees this, please try forwarding this to whatever kind of support/techy it concerns.

 

I was hoping for the same as GrumpyHobNob, but indeed still no fix. WTH Microsoft?

 

Game DVR seems to work again here for some reason!

 

Mine doesn't work either...

I have an NVidia GeForce 610 which is within the requirements (GeForce 600 or above required)

Please help mods!!!
