Grant exception to content restriction not working on Xbox One

    Hi all.

    According to this post:

Grant an Exception to Your Child’s Content Limits on Xbox One

I should be able to 'always' grant an exception to a content restriction (I want to allow my 11 year old son to play Skate 3 without needing to enter my passkey every time) but I don't get the 'once' or 'always' options, just OK and cancel.

    :)

  3. Grant an exeption to my child's

    Hi,

When I grant an exception to my child’s content limits on Xbox One S. This exception is not applied. I do that as describes in this topic "Grant an exception to your child’s content limits on Xbox One" available on the Xbox Live support page (Grant an Exception to Your Child’s Content Limits on Xbox One).
If I choose "Always" the exection is recorded on my child's account. I can check that on my microsoft account, in familly settings. But each time that my child want to launch one of this games I have to grant an exeption. This function worked well on my Xbox
360 and my Xbox One, but since I bought the Xbox One S I have this issue.

    What's wrong ?

    Best Regards !

    Heya ultasteveg.

When you're signing with the second account, are you making sure you're using the correct parent account? If you're using the wrong account you wouldn't be able to make the changes you see on that troubleshooter.

What is the point of your remark? You link states: " This is known as “granting a permanent exception”. The restriction that was blocking the child account from accessing the restricted content is removed permanently. A permanent content exception cannot
be revoked." which is teh reason of my first post....
