    Grand Theft Auto V Story Mode not working


    I bought bundle of GTAV Online and GTAV Story Mode when it launched (for Series X, it is not the Xbox One version). Only a few times was I able to play Story Mode. The majority of the time, I go to the tab at the main menu to start Story Mode and it says "buy Story mode." I have even been kicked out of the game back to the menu in the middle of playing and it says "buy Story mode" and won't let me back in. Is this some of DRM check issue?

    I already own the Story Mode. Even if I click on the link to buy it, the Microsoft store says I already own it. I tried to get help through Rockstar and they told me to download the launcher on PC. Which is pointless because I'm talking about the console game that the launcher cannot even interact with. I even deleted and redownloaded the entire thing and it's the same problem.

    I am really not wanting to have to waste $10 to buy the game again unbundled. I don't get how sometimes the game acts like I own Story Mode and the majority of the time it acts like I do not. Just sends me to the store where it clearly states I already own the game (both Online and Story Mode).

    I'm having the exact same problem.

    I have purchased a bundle with Grand Theft Auto V, Grand Theft Auto Online and Grand Theft Auto V: Story Mode (Xbox Series X|S)

    I've logged in on my Xbox Series X and it is downloading the normal version of Grand Theft Auto and not the Xbox Series X|S version.

    I've deleted all data and it is still downloading the normal version. I've even logged in on XBOX online and tried installing remotely but still no joy.
