Grand Theft Auto V game error

I purchased GTA V from Xbox Live in February of last year using a credit card. The game will no longer load. Every time I launch it, I get the following Game Error:

This Disc is unreadable.

1. Clean the disc with a soft cloth.

2. Restart the console.

There is no disc, obviously. I've cleared the memory cache, deleted and reinstalled the game twice, and the issue still persists.

Hi, it could be a problem with your storage device, if you are using a hard drive, then try deleting the game, then download a few demos that add up to the same size of GTA V, then re-download GTA V. The reason to download the demos first, is that GTA V
is stored on another part of the hard drive which hopefully wont give you the error.

 

...That...what? That's not even a thing.

Clear your cache three times, and redownload your game. You may also have to delete and redownload your profile. Games sometimes will have trouble telling if they're downloaded or if they're installed. That should, in most cases, fix the issue.

Redownloaded my profile and cleared the cache and it started first time. Hasn't done that in a long while. Thanks again for the good advice.
