Grand theft auto online modded

Hello I am Jakob and my gamer tag is megakiller789 and I got on grand theft auto online and there was a modder and gave me a bunch of money and last time this happened I got suspended and I don't want to again so I don't know what to do and when I got the
Money I didint use it and I'm scared I will get banned so what should I do?

You need to contact rockstar and tell them the situation. Tell them to remove the money for you and so you wont get banned or suspended.

the last time I got money from some random stranger danger, it was 100 million. but I didn't contact rockstar. instead, i let the money sit there for a little bit because i thought it was a glitch, then i spent it. after i bought everything i wanted, i would
fix up cars for random people to go sell them.

 

Notify R* immediately. Check your bank account at an ATM to see if it reflects you getting a large sum of money. If it does, check your socialclub stats and see if you have a big revenue from "gifted/received" cash. If you can see evidence of this, most
likely R* will be able to, too, and if they see this before you notify them, chances of you getting banned will be higher than not notifying them first.

 

If I was you Jakob i'd take their advice.

 

and thats why i dont play online because of the hackers...so easy for MS to just work to get videos and any info and web sites that encourage hacking any game ..

whats this "contact rockstar " ? you think they have a gta 5 hotline??? nooo...rockstar learned to run the other way when theres issues with their games just like treyarch and infinity ward/activisions C.O.D Series

 

The main problem is because we live in a world where we have democratic freedom. Because of this, our laws are shaped in a certain way so that other individuals do not tamper or harass that freedom; however, when it comes to the Internet, the laws that were
made before do not or cannot pertain to the Internet because "enforcement" of the Internet is a way of attempting to limit that freedom. And because of this, M$ and gaming companies can't really enforce the act of "hacking" and "modding" because it involves
the Internet, which is extremely difficult to enforce or limit because it is a "free market" and mostly controlled by the people, so the government or institutions that would try to limit or control/enforce the Internet would be infringing upon this world's
interpretation of freedom, and lawyers would love that kind of thing!

TL;DR: because the Internet is a free body, the laws that the govt. has defined to enforce that freedom does not or cannot apply to the Internet in the same way it was meant to; therefore, M$ and gaming companies can't really do much about the "hacking and
modding epidemic" of online gaming.

It all depends on how nervous you are and how much money you received. From personal experiences and second-hand accounts of this issue I can say anything $100,000,000 and under should not effect your gamer status. Anything above that should be reported
to R*. All in all, you should have worries whatsoever if you report it to R* from the beginning of the issue as for they will solve the issue for you.

For the most part Rockstar won't do anything, unless you ask them to of course. They are sort of tend to not ban/supend people because they received money involuntarly
