    Grand Theft Auto 5 Won't Load


    There's a continuous 'Loading Story Mode' in the bottom right corner of my screen, I've tried everything. I browsed so many posts and tried what other people have tried, unplugging and replugging in, clearing my system cache three times, deleted ALL
    existing GTA files, re installing the games, and probably some other things I'm forgetting. I don't know what to do at this point. It's a shame a $60 game can cause such a hassle...

    Grand Theft Auto 5 Won't Load

    Hi DarkMocha1,

    Thanks for your post on the Xbox Support Forums.

    GTA V requires an official Microsoft Hard Drive or a flash drive with a 2.0 port that has at least 8 GB free.

    Another issue that may cause this, is that disc 2 is damaged. Would you be able to test the game on another Xbox console?

    Either, please try if you are able to to install disc 2 on your hard drive. DO NOT install disc 1 (the installation disc) on your hard drive.

    I tried using two different USB Flash drives, and they didn't work, they were both 16GB, as I only have the 4GB Slim Console. And I cannot test it on another xbox, because simply I don't have another one.

    Did you recieve a specific error relating your flash drives?

    Please note that they'll need to be formatted to be used as an Xbox storage Device. Please read

    this article    . It describes how it works.

    With another Xbox, I mean if you are able to test it by a friend, family member, etc. Sorry I was not clear about that. Grand Theft Auto 5 Won't Load :(

    The time you will be banished into a bad sport lobby is really based on how much you managed to annoy/destroy other players items or experience in game.

    Bad Sports

    The main known factors that contribute to Bad Sport status:

    • Destroying other player's personal Vehicles appears to be a key factor in being designated a bad
      sport      . While killing a character appears to be penalty-free, wrecking cars owned by other players is an easy way to get blacklisted.
    • Dropping from Jobs mid-mission is
      a sure-fire way to get labeled a bad sport. Rage-quitting or stepping out of online matches has a direct negative effect on your sporting
      status.
    • Getting reported for annoying players and griefing.
    • Getting voted out of Jobs.
    The first Bad Sport designation reportedly lasts two days with subsequent banishments increasing duration of time in
    bad sport lobbies.

    The opposite of a GTA Online Bad Sport is a Good Sport who gains a reputation for
    fair play and relative courtesy. Good Sports will also receive cash rewards and discounts periodically for their behavior.
