Grand theft auto 5 won't launch

So around two years ago I was able to play Gta5 until one day the game would play, show the three characters, cut to a black screen and send me the the home screen with no error message.

Me and my brother used each others xboxs as home xboxs, so I would get his games and he would get my games. My brother had gta5 and i was using his game to play it on my xbox. When my game stopped working we suspected that it was because I was using his
game and I hadn't bought it on my xbox.

Then I went to buy it on my xbox store but because the xbox thought I already had it bought it wouldn't let me buy it. So over the past year I tried every method I could find like, restarting, making a new profile, deleting some data off the game but nothing
worked so I forgot about it.

Now I want to play it so I bought the disc version of the game but that still didn't work.

I don't know if the home xboxs was the reason or if my xbox isn't working but if your having the same issue please help. Thanks.
