Grand Theft Auto 5 50% off.

So I'm on my 360 and it tells me I can get Grand Theft Auto 5 for 50% if I go to the Xbox One store. Go to the Xbox One store. Full price. Contact support using chat.

Yes, it's been showing up but Rockstar has to approve it.

That was two days ago and it's still showing up on my 360 with an expiration date of August 1st 2016 and I still can't buy it.

That is a marketplace error, it was for the summer sale promotion which is now over and has been over since July 11th, you may have to uninstall and reinstall your profile to make the changes reflect on your console.

 

Ok, deleted and downloaded my profile. <sigh> Nope, still there. After making two attempts to try to resolve this with tech support I'm done. They should have just given me the discount and called it good. Now I'm going to file a complaint.

 

BTW, the expiration date on the ad is August 1st, 2016.

 

You need to delete your marketplace cache and clear system cache

 

The solution was to wait for the 'special' that I couldn't take advantage of to 'expire'.

 

The state AG office has a online form you can submit pricing complaints to so that's what I did. I also tried submitting one to the BBB but (surprising no one) they wouldn't accept complaints about Microsoft on this type of issue.
