    GOW4 Codes for older titles


    So i bought GOW4 on oct 10 and did not get the dowloads for the first games, on Oct 11 i contacted support and they told me not to worry that in 7 to 10 day i would get the codes by message in my account, on Oct 24 i contacted support again because i still
    had not received any codes and they told me to come here and post about the problem, today oct 27 I still dont have any codes. What is going on with this then?

    From what I've been told, all we can do is wait. They put you into a queue, and the longer we waited to buy, the longer we have to wait. I bought the 2tb red S the Saturday before the game released, so I'm pretty far back lol.

    From the Gears of War 4 store page:





    To qualify, purchase and redeem Gears of War 4 on Xbox Live by December 31 2016. Tokens for download will be sent in waves through Xbox Live in-dash message system within one month of redemption.




    So if you still don't have your codes after 30 days, feel free to post up a new thread and we'll take a closer look.

    Actually I preordered it on the Friday before

    And I got my codes last weekweek

    Noone knows the way they queue people

    Or their place in line however you just gotta wait it out

    Remember it's a promotional codes

    They do not want millions of people downloading the same games all at once you'd be waiting weeks just to redeem the codes

    Even longer for it to completely download

    Promotional codes have always been sent out in waves to prevent bottlenecks and it's only a small team checking and generating the codes

    It is also clearly mentioned in the terms and conditions
