    GoW codes after activation (>2 weeks now) and Is GoW 1 Ultimate Edition?


    2 Questions:

    1) When will we get GoW codes after activation? I was told 7-10 days by Microsoft Support team.

    2) Is the Gears of Wars 1 that is downloaded after GoW4 activation the Ultimate Edition. ie. Is the GoW1 you get the Ultimate Edition?

    GoW Code can not be redeemed

    Hello,

    i have received the codes for GoW 1-3 + Judgement for Xbox 360 as part of the Gow: Ultimate Edition for Xbox One.

    The Code für GoW 2+Judgement works fine.

    But the Code for GoW 1 + GoW 3 cannot redeemed. Please help me.

    Codes will be sent out within 30 days from the day you started Gears of War 4. Please keep in mind you would need to have started Gears of War 4 in order to be eligible. Please keep an eye out on your Xbox Live Messages for the codes to be sent to you. I'm
    unsure where you received Gears of War 1, as that should be part of the codes you'll receive via the messaging.

    I don't think GoW 1 is getting BC because GoW 1 Ultimate Edition is coming out in late August, so its pointless to have GoW 1 BC.

    And yes, Microsoft owns the GoW IP now.

    GOW4 is a Play Anywhere compatible title (purchasing it digitally from the Store) and you can play it on console and PC. Unfortunately, the offer to receive GOW 1, 2 and 3 (playing GOW Ultimate Edition before the date) is now finished on December 31st 2015.
