    GOW 3 and GTA IV Locked Region download problem


    When i purchased this games, i had a Portuguese live account.

    I changed my account to Brazil, and when i try to download this games, the following message appears: "Desculpe. Este conteúdo não está disponível para consoles na sua região.",

    to the english: "Sorry. This content is not available to the consoles of your region."

    I tried download the game from download history, but, when the download is completed and i'll start play, a message of region locked appears.

    PS: Sorry for my poor english.

    GTA IV is region locked, I'm not sure about Madden, but if it's not working them it's probably a region issue too. Your account region and your physical location have to match in order to be able to download region locked content.

    San Andreas Re-release is region locked!!!!

    Why would region locks be removed from any gta games?

    All gta games are region locked due to government controls those laws don't change

    all you have to do to download gta games is match your account region with your actual region problem solved

    You purchased it in the wrong revgion

    Region locked content doesnf change when you migrate you need to repurchase the correct content

    Yes. If a game was region locked, the region lock is still in place. As long as your account region matches your physical location, any games that show in the store on your console are available to you. So if GTA IV shows up for you, you'll be able to download it. If your account region does not match your physical location and the game is not actually available in your region, you won't be able to download it.

    OK, but other games don't have this problem, like GoW 2 and GoW Judgment. My region is Spain. Only GoW 1 and GoW 3 have this problem.
