GOW 1 & GOW 3 Unable to Redeem Code

From playing the Gears of War Ultimate Edition I recently received my codes for GOW 1, GOW 2, GOW 3 & GOW 4.

I was able to redeem my codes for GOW 2 & GOW 4.

Every time I try to redeem the code for GOW 1 & GOW 3 I receive the following error message. Xbos-0x80150017

(I did receive a new code for GOW 3 but I'm still receiving the error message.)

I have checked my billing region, xbox live region and xbox one region settings and they are all setup to Canada. (I tried doing the region change from some previously posted topics but they will not let me change my region as it is setup properly.)

Any assistance to get these games working would be appreciated.

can't redeem code

hi I can't redeem my code for both gow 1 and 3. Got bundle collection when brought gow 4, am unable to redeem two codes

 

GoW Ultimate Edition: Unable to redeem codes for GoW 1 and GoW 3.

I've received my GoW Ultimate Edition codes last Friday. Tried redeeming all of them yesterday and again today. For GoW 2 and GoW Judgment Day this was succesful, for GoW 1 and GoW 3 this didn't work. I contacted customer support and we tried various things,
but still the GoW 1 & 3 codes wouldn't redeem. The error code I get is Xbos-0x80150017. My case number is:
[Mod Removed].

Please help!

Seems to be something to do with Xbox One now region locking download codes.

Hopefully we'll get further new codes?

 

No because the issue isn't with the codes

The issue is with your location

In order to fix that error you need to comply with the region lock

This means your account region must match your actual region us foreign bases don't count as the US you must use your local region

And this one is enforced by international laws due to bans in certain regions

 

I wish this issue could be resolved by changing regions. As mine are all setup properly, I just need to wait for some help from the support team.

Or using an vvpn for American netflix if using s vpn turn it off

If you have an international isp like aol you may need to do a hard reset of the router and ip this can be handled by calling your isp

 

I totally forgot about this since I had GetFlix setup on my router. I turned it off and the codes worked. Thanks for the assistance.

 

Ya you can use Netflix just remember to turn it off when downloading games

That would be why Malta is not a valid xbox live region and the promo wouldn't apply
