    Just curious about installing game of the year games, if I install a goty game but buy a normal disc to use after, will I get to use the dlcs still?

    Understood,

    But the GOTY title is so diluted that it really has little meaning..... 1UP GOTY? IGN GOTY? EDGE GOTY? Forza 4 could be game of the year from a smaller media outlet and still claim that on the box GOTY Games ;)

    I get ya though....

    GOTY Games

    You usually find that with a GOTY edition you will either have two game discs (one disc with the standard game and the second disc with the extra content and the DLC)

    or a single disc (containing the standard game) and a separate card with the download codes for the DLC.

    One disc and DLC codes is the more common option.

    So, yes, you should still be able to play the game using a normal disc. But any DLC codes can only be used once.

    [/quote]Unless your Naughty Dog, which got several GOTY awards from various gaming sites for Uncharted 2. Hell, I think even the editors at Official Xbox Magazine wanted to give Uncharted 2 GOTY, LOL.

    Thoughts so far.

    I'm thinking about getting this game, but should I wait for a GOTY edition? Or do you even think there will be a GOTY with the DLC on the disc.

    No Witcher 3 saves

    The GOTY edition is classed as a separate game with it's own achievements & save files.

    The version on gamepass was just the base game so your save won't work on the GOTY edition.
