Gotta Love How Unfair The Enforcement Team And Case Reviews Are

I love Xbox as a company, but they needs to be a wake up call. I just/am currently going through a case review. I get swearing is a bad thing, but when I'm getting harassed, I can be known as "The Attacker"? I was being harassed by an Xbox user, I called
him a [Mod Removed] after he called me one. He also continued with other vulgar terms. I reported 4 of his messages, but him reporting 1 of mine got me communicatons banned for 2 weeks. I applied for a case review, and here's what I get back:

[Mod Removed] over Xbox Live.

We understand it can be difficult dealing with harassing, negative users on Xbox Live, and strongly encourage the use of Xbox’s “mute” and “block” features, as well as reporting offending content via the appropriate channels, should the content be found in
violation of Microsoft’s Code of Conduct Explained for Xbox Live Customers. Retaliating to a potential harassing user through profane, threatening or abusive language is still a form of harassment and is just as likely to result in enforcement action against
your account as it is the attacker.

Xbox Live is designed to be enjoyed by everyone, and no one should ever feel unsafe or threatened while on the service. That goal cannot be achieved if players are permitted to harass and abuse others. Even if behavior was intended to be light-hearted trash
talk, when these comments are used to abuse, demean or otherwise harass it can no longer be considered smack talk, but harassment.

It's never confirmed whether I won the case, or not. Now I'm stuck waiting 13 days till I can talk again. I verbaly defended myself, yet I face the consequences. During this period, the user that verbally attacked me is COMPLETELY untouched. I have no way
to contact the enforcement team, so here I am, stuck waiting. There needs to be a change.

How do you contact the Enforcement Team on their website? The answer is you don't! The "submit a case review" link is broke because the Enforcement Team rather spam people and give out unfair suspensions instead of actually doing their job!

After reviewing your inquiry, we have found the enforcement to be warranted. <----- Means you did not win the case.

In situations like that, it's best to just report the other person and block them instead of responding. If you respond in a way that violates the code of conduct, you are equally at fault.

As long as you file a complaint on them, the enforcement team will investigate them and take action. Investigations can take time so not all suspensions are issued immediately and it's not always possible to tell 100% if another person has received a suspension.
