Got Xbox One for my kids and it's not working - HELP

It has been doing this all day. I keep getting the code E203 00000803 80073CF6

This is incredibly frustrating. Is this the hackers? Or is my system ***??? I know nothing about this stuff - just trying to get it working for my kids. I was told by a chat agent to try some Offline Diagnostic Tool, but that seems like a hell of a lot
of work.

Gold sharing not working

We have two Xboxes in the house. My kids could use Gold on the first one because I set it as my home Xbox, but not on the second. For Christmas, we got one of the kids his own Xbox Live gold subscription and set the second Xbox as his home, with the thought
that it would share his gold there.

Except it's not working. Whenever my other kids try to go online on the second Xbox, it refuses to let them and pops up a message asking them to buy Gold.

Is there something that would restrict sharing that I'm missing?

 

Internet Connection Problems

My kids got an Xbox One S for Christmas and it was working fine until about three weeks ago. Now we cannot download any games and it keeps signing us out of our account mid game. Our internet is working properly, I have tried restarting and unplugging
our xbox and our router, I have tried putting our console into energy saving mode, nothing has worked. It is very frustrating to be kicked off mid game, and to not be able to play new games that they just got for their birthdays because they will not download.

Help please!

 

It is a hacker attack to the best of my guess. I'm not a Microsoft employee or staff member but I can validate that Core services are down which is not just your system.

 

I just don't want to waste time with that Diagnostic Tool if it's the server and it's going to fix itself once Microsoft figures out what is going on. Thanks for your response. I don't know much about this stuff....

 

earlier, I could get to the screen where you start to run the update - then it would kick to the error screen. That was 10 hours ago. Now, it goes straight from the green screen to the error screen. Is it possible that our system is a lemon - or could this
be due to the hack?

 

If you type xbox live hacked? Into your search engine theres some news on the problem, its a denial of service attack on Sony and MS, my freinds etc is working my games updated so its not so bad try signing in and maybe usin offline mode settings/network
then go offline, also check it as home console as some games can be funny without it, hope its sorted for you soon, gl.

 

Just seen your post try setting it to factory default unplugging it for 30 seconds to hard reset, *** hope it works for you, u were like updating then service went down.

 

Everthing is up for me now, the update does take a long time without Live problems so just leave it running for a while
