Got one year Xbox live but can't play online?

Check you xbox one account here

and check if you can see the subscription here, usually the expiry date will confirm if it has been accepted.

If it is there try a power cycle of the xbox to see if that resolves the issue, also try removing and re-adding your account on the xbox as a TS step.

I too am getting this 801500A message this morning on my XBOX 360. I was just on it yesterday playing NCAA 14. I hadn't played the game in years, but I played it from my online library. Was going to play again this morning and got the can't connect to
xbox live. Bummer. Microsoft, fix this.

As stated above, you need an Xbox Live gold subscription. They cost something like $20 for 3 months, $60 for a year or something along those lines. Without the subscription, you can't play with others online. If the gamer tag you used to post here is the
same one you set up when you got your Xbox, this would be your problem. You are currently a Silver account, which is free, but does not allow online play.

No i'm sorry to say you can't. Xbox Live for the original Xbox was discontinued about 2 years ago, so no original xbox games can be played online anymore.

i'm a sixteen year old with the same *** problem mate! I have removed all restriction settings to adult as well and can not play matchmaking! I used to play it all the time and now all of a sudden I got new live and I can't go online!
