Got no support . really thinking of selling my xbox after 5 years

I am writing this as a last resort . i am facing an issue and each time i contact support i go in the same cycle .

here is my issue : for a reason xbox support have given me a prepaid code for a month live service . i cant get this code to work . opened 2 tickets with support and each time they say our engineers are working on it try in 24 hours and no use . if anyone
from microsoft is seeing this the ticket numbers are

A tough decision...

Didn't they stop XBL support for the first Xbox in 2010? That's like 5 years after 360 came out. If that's the case, then they shouldn't drop 360 support for the same duration, 5 years, seriously no less than 3 years, after Xbox 1 has launched. Xbox 360
is awesomeness more peps are on it than on Xbox 1. Most of my friends including myself who do own Xbox 1 always go back to Xbox 360. Xbox 360 is too popular for them to drop XBL before November 22, 2016 (when Xbox 1 turns 36 months or 3 years, old).

 

Forced Gamertag Change Assistance

My gamer tag after 12+ years of having it, got changed because it NOW violates some code.

i dont mind that, allthough its an inconvenience. what is upsetting me is that microsoft is charging me $10 to change it to something i want. now, ive already cancelled my gold membership as well as the gold membership for all my nephews. it expires next
month and im planning on selling all of our xboxes and buying PS4s next month. now before i go through the trouble of selling 5 xboxes and buying 5 ps4s, i figured I'd give this one more try.

i want my gamer tag changed, free of charge, to something of my choosing, not the random one assigned.
