No one called you a jerk at all, I surely didn't. I'm simply trying to explain to you how the whole backbone of gamertags being released works. I'm sorry you had a chat agent that gave you the wrong information and got your hopes up, there's really nothing
else I can personally do to change that.

In the future if you're having trouble with something I'm sure making a post on this forum someone will be able to assist in some way, there's always someone around to answer a question or two.

I'm not able to specifically see why the person you were speaking to on the chat told you that they would be able to release a gamertag for you.

Whomever you spoke with was mistaken, or maybe they were new and starting out. I wouldn't have any way of telling you that information as I don't work for Microsoft. I'm simply a volunteer that likes to help others get some more clarification on information
they did not know before or something they need help with that I can personally assist with.

As far as what my post above said, everything is factual and doing a quick search on any search engine pops that information up. There's simply no way to get a gamertag released, sorry.
