    Got hit with an update in the middle of downloading


    Hi. I'm in the middle of installing a game from marketplace and I got it to the "Ready to start" mark and I launched it just to check it out, then the system told me I had to update the game before I can launch it. So I just wanted to know if I start the update does it reset the progress of the initial download?

    Nope, the update should start after you download the base game
    The ready to start mark usually don't let you play the full game. Is just like a mini tutorial
    If possible fully close the game and once downloaded start the update

    Hi,

    If your download is still showing as pending try to go to the dashboard and then push the middle button on your Xbox 360 controller. Go to Games & Apps, and then Active Downloads. Once you're there, press A on the pending download and then try to hit Download
    Now if there's an option for that. This should jump start the download.
