Got hacked online

Playing COD: MW2 online two nights ago, the game was hacked and long story short my weapons and achievments disappeared. After rebooting I was forced to re-update the game and reset my ranks so all my weapons and achievements were gone.

Is Microsoft investigating this and will my weapons and achievments be restored? There were other people in the game lobby at the time so I can't have been the only person affected.

Accidentlly got into an online hacked game

i was in one today as well. The other teams points were at 9999 per player. I noticed this after i joined and died immediately.

This is a game specific issue that you will have to take up with the dev. I would advise posting on the official CoD forums.

I have heard of other people losing stuff in other games. But, it wasn't a hack, is was a bug somewhere in the game (console and or server). Have you checked with Activision?

People are getting banned and reset even if it was accidental

a tired old guy

I heard at least one person who came here with that issue state that when they called activision they were told they would be tagged to not be banned..... and would possibly get their rankk restore when they work it all out.
