Got charged even after cancelling my subscription

Hello,

so, as a subject says, I got recently charged for Xbox game pass ultimate even though that I cancelled an auto renewal service. I am 100 % sure that I did that.

I got in touch with an Xbox gamer via chat but he didn't really tell my anything usefull apart from that he will send it to the company, they will contact me and then without any additional info like "Where will they contact me" or somehing he closed the chat. It has been a few days and I still don't know if I will see my money again. It's not like I wouldn't use that gamepass but it's more about principle. I cancelled a service and still got charged for something I didn't ask for. I hope you get my idea.

First of all, I tried to get a refund through a page called "Request an Xbox subscription refund" but it says "We didn't find any purchases on this account. Check "Why don't I see my purchase in the list" for more info.". I saw the transaction in Billing but I couldn't do anything with it. I even tried cancelling the subscription itself byt it just tells me that it cannot be done since it has been already paid. I tried googling for several hours how to get in touch with a real microsoft support that could actually do anything via e-mail or something but no luck.

If anyone here can help me, I would be really glad!

Unfortunately, I can't see an option to contact a real support. I can only get in touch with gamer no matter what I select. I got a sparkle of hope for a second but it looks like that this might need a different solution.

You'll need to contact support and speak to billing. You can request a call back or chat with them (chat with support not an expert gamer) at http://support.xbox.com/contact-us I you don't see those options, change your category/topic until you do. Billing & Subscriptions and "I don't recognize a charge" usually works for me.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

If there is a charge you should be able to see the transaction via https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders.

Once you have canceled a subscription, there shouldn’t be a charge.

Kindly check all of your Microsoft accounts where the charge may be.

I was having this problem, I canceled my subscription last winter. Yet, I was still being charged for the 10-person realm, even though Minecraft said that my realm was expired, I was still getting charged! Even after my card number got changed. My fix for this was going to xbox.com and singing in to see my payments and billings, turning off reoccurring payments, then canceling the subscription.

I'm trying to cancel fortnite crew and it's not even showing in my subscriptions to cancel but have been charged 11.99 for the past three months and the charges are in the billing history.
