kid yelling the N word in siege last night and team killing! FYI My father is African and can’t stand racial slurs. I report him for team killing and yet I get banned? really ???

My suspending

i got banned over something I didn’t start technically a guy killed me for no reason and your not suppose to team kill and all of a sudden he invited me to a party and stared being racist and his friends called me names and I called him something back and
I get banned for it.

Reporting for racist

How can I report a person who was abusive and racist in the game?, I was playing overwatch using microphone, I'm Mexican living in my country, I was playing cause the game is for everybody, I was speaking in spanish for a short time and this person started
saying taco taco, I didn't pay attention, when the game finished I sent a message saying he was a bad player I know I shouldn't do that, but anyway I did it, but I only said that no more, and this guy started super abusive calling me bitch and also saying
racist things, like go back to Mexico before Trump makes you and thinks like that, I said I will report you, and he kept saying things like that, what can I do about it? Cause saying things about the game is one thing, but saying sexist comments or racist
are another story

You don't get banned for reporting someone.

Whenever someone reports you, the consoles involved will collect telemetry and other information and send that in together with the report as evidence.

Then a real human being from the Enforcement Team will look at the report and the attached evidence, and then based on the report and evidence provided, will decide if a suspension is justified or not.

So if you did nothing, and the evidence proves that, nothing would have happened.

However, reading a lot of similar posts where people think they were unfairly banned, it went usually like in this example:

The other player: "I'm gonna team kill you, you [racial slur]"

You respond: "Oh, you [expletive], I'm going to report you for that" (your message gets reported by the other player and is being attached as evidence).

You then report his "I'm gonna team kill you..." message with the racial slur, which also gets attached to the report.

Both messages violated the Xbox Live Code of Conduct. As you in the example used an expletive, this causes you to get suspended. Not the report that you sent in.

I endured the exact same ban with no idea why other then other players abused the report option... I honestly feel this is a major reason why Xbox loses players to Playstation because this kind of anti-consumer attitude/action is ridiculous there needs to
be restrictions placed on the enforcement team just the same as there are on customers that would help resolve several issue like this from happening for no good reason I know a friend was wrongfully reported 13 times by another player my friend got a communication
ban because of it that other player that reported my friend 13 times spouted racist comments to my friend through messages & as far as I know my friend was banned while that racist person wasn't punished at all..... just saying the poor management of bans
& enforcement actions have gone on like this for way too long something needs to change & the wrongful bans need to be stopped just saying......

MS doesn't do anything about hackers.The enforcement team ignores most reports and rarely investigates.But tell some foul mouth racist to f*** off and the nforcement team will be all over you because you hurt the ahole's feelings.And I've seen people get
banned for reporting hackers and the hackers get away with breaking the rules.I honestly don't see this improving with the xbox one at all.
