Got banned for no reason...

I've been banned for an unknown reason. The enforcement website tells me that I was impersonating staff. Frankly, I haven't done anything to imply that I work at Microsoft. I have never threatened to ban someone, pretended to be Xbox staff, tried to gain
personal info by threats, or anything else on the description of my account suspension. I would never even think to do such a wretched thing. I think I may have been banned because of my profile picture. I had a friend who had a relative who worked at Microsoft.
His gamertag is not important because he has been banned for over 7,000 years. He gave me the sandbox ID to switch my Xbox One into a developer mode. I turned it down several times, but he threatened to ban me. So I had no other choice. Using the instructions
he gave me, I acquired the Xbox Ambassador picture and signed back in to Xbox Live. For a few months, I had no problems, and I was not aware that I was doing something wrong by having that profile picture. And how would I have no problems for 3 months if I deserved
a ban? That's what I'm concerned about. Would the Xbox Enforcement Team really take 3 months to ban my account? Did they target me for no reason? However obsurd the reason may be, I'd like a reason as to why I got banned. I want an exact, precise cause, and
I'd like the ban to be lifted if possible.

Extra Note:

Right after I got banned, I changed my profile picture because I thought it was the cause.

The only place to find out any information about bans is the enforcement site. The enforcement team will not give you any specific information. You would need to try submitting a case review there if you believe it is false.

It wouldn't necessarily have taken the enforcement team 3 months to ban you. It just depends on when someone filed a complaint on you.

You can view your ban by logging in at enforcement.xbox.com and from there file a case review if the ban is eligible for one.
