Got "avoid me" reputation because people don't want to get ranked up against me so they block ...

Your rep is the way other gamers rate your online behavior. To avoid this in the future try to keep it clean and avoid smack talk. In general the best way to get out of a bad rep is to play as many coop games as you can with a large pool of gamers.

You are deliberately misinterpreting what is being said yes false reports are thrown out but blocks and avoids are counted against your reputation automatically so if someone does block/avoid because they don't want to lose regardless of how you interacted
with them you will lose rep this is why the top halo players the top overwatch and gears players are all stuck in avoid me has nothing to do with the reports its all about people blocking and avoiding you so they dont have to play with people above their skill
level

it isn't the problem playing nice, I play by the rules but games like overwatch and others have just a toxic community that get you banned. Some players get blocked so you don't have to play against them again because you rolled them or you got a teammate
who did bad and block him and they get penalize and that ends up being Avoid me. It's not the person but the people on the game. This enforcement is too overpowered and needs a heavy nerf because it gives too much power to the player

If your reputation is in Avoid Me, It IS you that is the problem. Enforcement has nothing to do with your rep, it is how you are perceived by others.

This is frankly unacceptable. If a player does something wrong, they can be reported, investigated, and suspended. Otherwise, nobody should have their multiplayer privileges revoked because a bunch of players choose to block him/her just because they don't
want to get matched up against them.

The 343 devs straight up admitted that the system was flawed and had to opt out of it for their playlists on Halo:

We need actual solutions. We don't want to be told to go play non-Reputation games like Neverwinter or World of Tanks for weeks on end just to get some Reputation score up, which can be exploited as trivially as getting Blocked.

I'll describe to you what is happening in a large amount of detail because you seem to think "play nice" is the only solution to this unfair system:

- I played Overwatch exclusively

- Overwatch is a 6v6 FPS

- I played only with a full team for every game

- Every single player that was on my team, was a friend and there were no issues in our interactions (see your comment about boasting, not communicating, lack of teamwork, showboating, unsportsmanship)

- My team won games a lot

- As you win an rank up, you play against other players in the same skill area (no competitive ranking, quick play)

- My team faced other teams multiple times, as in we played against the same people over and over)

- The other team avoids me because they do not want to matchmake against me anymore. (see above link #2)

- There is no voice communication with the enemy team in-game so there is no trash talking

- Because I was avoided by players of similar skill, our team ended up playing teams that were even lower skill, and crushed them too, causing more and more blocks

Playing non-party games is not an option to improve reputation, as you must play with more random players and not get blocked in order to restore reputation. I tried Neverwinter and the Avoid Me status carries over into trying to form groups. I sat in matchmaking
for over an hour without a single person getting matched.

The overall issue at hand is that players are abusing the block system in order to circumvent playing against stronger opponents. Blocking a player does indeed hurt their reputation, and good players are getting punished, hard. Your solution to "play nice"
means that in order to maintain a high level of reputation, I need to lose games on purpose so that people are willing to play against me again. This breaks all the intention of what a competitive game is supposed to be. In these games that we play, there
is supposed to be a winner and a loser. The winners should not be punished because the losers don't like losing.

TL;DR: The notion of "playing nice" does not work with the current blocking system. Player blocks are valid, but it should not hurt the reputation of the blocked player - that is what reports are for.
