    got a message concerning free trial, haven't got free trial


    the message i got went something like ' we are aware that you had some trouble signing in on (some random date i cant remember) and we will give you 7 days of free gold for your inconvenience' but i haven't got the free trial. i was on the customer support
    chat and they said to post here and i will receive the trial.

    Hi,

    If you check you subscription renewal/cancellation date you will see it is extended 7 days. To not to miss it check the start date and let say you have a 12M membership and the renewal/cancellation date should be the same month and day but it has changed
    as they added the 7 days to your existing membership.

    I also never received it. My membership expired before I received the message and I waited 2+ weeks. I recently activated a 12 month subscription and the date was not extended 7 days. I spoke with support and they are unsure themselves.

    Hi,

    If your membership has expired before they could apply the 7 day extension then speak to them again to have your case send over to Advocacy Team for review.

    Support keeps asking me the same things over and over again. I also have an issue where it allowed me to enter trial codes that I received from my Xbox One console, spare Xbox One controller and Call of Duty, 2 of the trials never applied and it says that
    they are used. It doesnt appear that theres any way that I can get the 9 trial days back and the 7 day extension.

    Hi,

    The trial code that you have from games are trial they will be not visible as subscription, so you won't see if that is applied beside the message that code has been successfully redeemed. If you speak to support then tell them you have a screenshot (so
    make one where the message and your gamertag can be seen on one screen) which you can provide if needed for the Advocacy Team but they will see it in the system anyway.

    Trials are for silver accounts only.They will not add any live time on an already gold account
