Got a lot to say

Ok for starters it wouldn't let me post on my main account AllahMuhallah so now I've created a new one just to post this.

I have been given codes for Gears Of War games by a friend. Gears 2 and Judgement downloaded fine...

Gears 1 and 3 error out repeatedly with "Something happened on our end, try again later" which it's said for 4 days now.

Spoken to support and they seem to think it's a regional issue as I'm in the UK and the codes are originally from an American Xbox Embassador.

I've tried entering the codes in the web page, on pc app, smartphone app and of course on my Xbox One.

Any ideas? I'm fed up up writing the same thing out over and again

I'm sorry to see any redemption issues! The codes for the Gears Collection are not region locked; getting a code from someone in another region will not be an issue. What you are running into is likely a region mismatch issue; your account region does not
match your physical location. You will want to attempt a
region migration to ensure your account is set to the region you are physically located in.

If that doesn't help you out, you will need to
contact us via phone or chat to double check on any account issues. Because this is technically a Billing issue, we are unable to support this on our forums for security issues.

Hi there I am the original poster but using my original account now. I just did the region migration and was able to redeem the codes so very happy right now.

I just wonder why the 5 people in live chat couldn't have suggested this.
