Got 2 Xbox’s and want to use both at same time multiplayer with son

You would need to add eachother on xbox. Then you invite your son to a game.

I have run into a similar situation with my girlfriend a few weeks ago. We wanted to play Drake Hollow together. She would use our Xbox One, i was going to play either on my PC or via Xcloud. Everytime I would log into my account rhough it would boot her
off.

I did a shotgun fix so you may not need to do all of these steps.

1. Created her own Xbox account using her live.ca email address

2. Signed her up for Gamepass ultimate (This includes Xbox Live Gold).

Once i got it working i didn't bother to see if using the "Home Xbox" setting wouldve been enough.

I would love it if either someone from Xbox could clarify how this could be done easier, or maybe have a Gamepass Ultimate Family tier.

Very interesting reading this as me and my son both have xboxones.

The only game I've got digitally is trails fusion so will try this on my sons xbox to see if this works.

Hopefully this will save us money because we both have 7 disc copies of the same game at the moment, It would be nice to pay for one game and both of us play online at the same time.

If I may ask, what is the error that you're getting whenever they're trying to play together?

Also, do they have their own Xbox profile on both Xbox consoles?
