Got 2 X1 headset adapters, Both dont work...

Hello

I have bought the x1 headset adapter for £20, which didn't work and I also got the x1 stereo headset which also didn't work

I use the Astro A40 headset... But when I use the adapter all my froends say when im talking theres ALOT of distortion etc

And the fact the official X1 stereo headset didnt work does not make me happy at all

is there any news on an update or a fix?

Turtle Beach X31

It won't work, and there are no headsets available that will work through the X1 either. Turtle beach is supposedly releasing adapters/X1 headsets early 2014

Not sure about the adapters, but both Polk and Turtle Beach have X1 headsets coming in February

try what i just had to do. Turn off your xbox then , unplug the xbox power cable and try again . God the design for the xbox one sucks . What happens when you rush a console to market

 

Did you update your controllers?

Go to Settings and then System. Take out the batteries, connect the controller to the console via USB cable (should have been included with your headsets), plug in the headset adapter and connect the headset too and press A on Update Controller. It could
then start working better.

was going to suggest updating the controller with the adaptor and headset. plugged in to it. My Astro A40 works great, no issues at all

 

Both appied the update eventually but both have the same issue...
