So GoPro support finally emailed me back but they basically apologized for how long the reply had took, then said they are experiencing high volumes of people requesting support and promised they would email me again asap to offer help with my issue. They
also called me Derrick which was weird lol. Anyway it doesn't matter now because just like the 2 posts above me, my app suddenly started working again today

@MissDiggz I am a part of the preview program so I will definitely post any other problems I have in the preview forum

PS a little off topic but if any of you are interested in being a part of the preview program (On Xbox One), send me a message via Xbox Live and i'll invite you.

Thanks for posting back with the progress and the great news that the GoPro app works for you! I'm happy to hear about that.

Also, no problem that you posted here. I just wanted to pass along some helpful info for those that are in the Preview Program to get the best possible support catered to them!

Wow the app is working again and I didn't even do anything. Will post back here tomorrow to see if its still working? Any luck for anyone else?

Hey there everyone,

I am sorry to hear about the issues being experienced with the GoPro app.

If, by chance, you are experiencing this issue and you are participating in the Preview Program, please post in the Preview Forums.

If you are not participating in the Preview Program, give the following troubleshooting steps a shot:

Uninstall the GoPro App.
Power cycle your Xbox One console.
Once the console is off completely, unplug the console from the power source and give it a few minutes.
Then, plug all the cords back in and turn on your console.
Reinstall the GoPro app and use as you normally would.

If after you have tried the steps above and still are experiencing this issue, please post back and let us know.

Same problem here, right after registering with GoPro. App tries to load and says "Any expected error has occurred. Please check your internet connection or try again later" yet the videos play in the background. Been like this for over two weeks now.
