Google Chrome and or Tidal Music App

There is a music service called Tidal that streams Lossless Audio and now even has Masters music, (24 bit instead of 16 bit), I think the Xbox One could handle this easily, just need to have access to Google Chrome, which right now is the only way to get
the HiFi stream or be able to install their desktop app, which you need for Masters and you can stream Lossless as well.

So Google Chrome anyone? Or maybe contact the Tidal.com company and maybe setup an app special for the Xbox.

old thread, i know. but still relevant. I want GOOGLE apps, specifically Chrome, Gmail and Music.

Xbox One needs to add Google Chrome on the Dashboard not IE

Google could make a Chrome browser as an app for Xbox One. But I don't think it will be as good as the native browser. Anyway I ditched Chrome for IE since and since version 9 and above has been great. So if you want Chrome petition Google for it.

I'd say yes to Chrome, but the only reservation I have against it is that it is RAM hungry and the XB1 needs all it can get, considering the OS already takes up 3GB.

Skype has been replaced awhile ago just like it replaced msn messenger

Skype is legacy app

Collaboration is where it is at nowadays you have discord, teamspeak,teams

What does this have ro do with Google not developing apps for non android platforms ?

MS does have android /chrome apps , google still uses their own app suite

It is on Google not ms to do deals and I don't think you realize the real issue

To publish on platforms google must PAY a license fee to the RIAA and mpaa for every platform they publish for

Youtube is not a web browser, it is a web site.

All three of your examples use the web rendering engine of Edge.

Third party web rendering engines are not allowed on the MS Store because they are a huge security risk.
