    Okay, so, a few days ago (about 5 or 6) I set up my Google assistant app to work with my Xbox. It was working perfectly fine, no issues. But since the update on 8/28, my Google home will no longer keep a stable connection to the Xbox. It cycles through
    saying its either "offline", "not responding" or it simply says its on or off for a moment before cycling again. Alexa does the same, saying shes unable to connect. My Xbox is on the correct networks, its online, working fine. Ive tried hard resetting the
    xbox, signing out, back in, disconnecting the app and reconnecting, even renaming the xbox in the app(some claimed it helped) but to no avail. Is it simply a bug with the new update? Or should I try something else? Any help is appreciated.

    Cortana

    I personally use cortana on my windows 11 laptop

    Works great

    You gotta remember everyone prefers their own ai assistant

    Mostly google siri or alexa

    Cortana is a niche when it comes to online resources

    Alexa has firefly

    Google has the entire Google database Siri has a nice voice not entirely accurate but a nice voice and works on Apple devices lol I have Google assistant for my speakers and Alexa on my android box fire stick cube

    I also have my iptv customers trained on Alexa since they usually use firesticks

    The Alexa skill is nice. I'm not sure if it is up to Microsoft or Google to make it work with a Google home.

    I would go to https://xboxideas.uservoice.com and suggest it there.

    Cortana is dead so what am I meant to use now?

    You can but only thru a third party device or a mobile device for alexa or google now

    For cortana the mobile app works fine
