Goodbye Xbox Wireless Controller. It breaks down all the time.

Looking inside the battery pack you can see that that metal tab on the face of the AA battery pack presses down a switch. If you are having these issues, you might need to go inside the pack with a small screwdriver and bend the tab to be able to make better
connection. It worked for me pretty well.

Hello Undeadboy222! Now when this happens are you using the AA Battery pack that comes with the controller? When the AA battery packs get along in age the little metal tabs on the inside of the pack tend to bend towards the top causing a bad connection.
A good way to fix this is to get a small screw driver and bend the tabs back down so they get a good connection.

If it's a rechargeable battery pack check the four metal tabs on the back side of the controller aren't dirty or damaged. Also make sure the metal contacts on the rechargeable battery pack are clean and free of debris and not damaged. There will be a small
scratch on the four inner metal contacts this is normal as long as its not a massive gouge.

Any type of connection breaks or shuts down I tried wired wireless and hotspot it shuts them all down. And for the hotspot it connects but then shuts down my phone couple secs later.

The console is ok not hot and well ventilated but when i use my wireless controller to commence play, and i press the (homex) button on controller it automatically shuts console game down .

I cant press the button at all to get into settings or anything as it shuts down system. Tried my other wireless controller and does the same thing every time !

Did you purchase official xbox merchandise or third party accessories? Controllers can break down oover time with repeated use. No product is indestructible.
