Goodbye Xbox Community :'(

This is a fond farewell by a long term Xbox gamer!

ahhh the memories of Halo 2 on the original Xbox and Halo 3, G.O.W 1,2&3 on the 360 and the many, many happy memories of other games i've played with the Xbox community. I never thought it would come to this...... I'm leaving Xbox for the PS4 and tbh i
never thought that would ever happen after the massive success of the 360, all Xbox had to do was carry over the best parts of the 360 to the XB1 but they failed..... MISERABLY!!!

last night me and my friends had to skype chat because the party wasn't working, then we went from game to game trying to get them to work with no joy and that ended being the straw that broke the camel's back. If after 1 year of the xbox being out they
still can't sort these minor but major problems then i'm going to have to withdraw my service and support (and god knows i've supported Xbox through the good times and the bad times.)

At the moment i'm in the middle of sending my XB1 for repair (because u know.....its an XB1) as the disc tray is broken then its goodbye broken party's, games, servers and halo:mcc and hello fully operational PS4!

So to sum up, this is a goodbye thread to all the Xbox gamers who read it, u guys ROCK!!! its just a shame we're playing on a completely un-supported platform!

It is disappointing that party chat didn't work for you. =/ Hopefully the party chat works better on the PS4 for ya.

 

So last night you were trying to party chat on an Xbox One that is in for repair?

Good luck on PSN. Your information should be just fine on their "stable" network.

Bird, ive only just put in for my repair today, because of lasy night and from what i hear PSN is actually way more stable than XBL but i guess i'll find out soon lol

 

You may be disappointed. Just saying. Let's just say I may know a thing or two about how much "better" it is on PSN.

 

I have both consoles and Gold and PS+. I couldn't log into psn last night . They both have growing pains at times. You're mad about MCC and I'm mad about DC. All I'm saying is " The grass ain't always greener on the other side of the fence".

Personally I have all three current gen consoles plus a 3DS and Vita why limit yourself to one system? I keeps me honest lol. After all , it's about the games .

 

Some people break up with their consoles like they break up with a girlfriend. They get all emotional and need to write a letter. We hope things go better with the new girlfriend.

don't see where you're getting "un-supported platform" from when the X1 is getting monthly updates for features and bug fixes, granted, given that it have been out for a year now things like the party system should be running much better than it is.

 

Just an FYI, but both xbox live and PSN were having issues last night. Probably being ddosed again.

 

I must say that at times lately the Xbox one is stressing me. Party invites not working, a few hard resets but not enough to jump ship. I don't have a ps4 to compare but I do have a lot of RL friends who do, and from they tell me, the problems are just
as annoying over there. I think both companies have to step back from adding features all the time and really knuckle down and fix the stuff that is in place.
