good double on-ear headsets?

im sick of the *** stock xbox one headset and i want something that covers my ears like turtle beaches but there are to many to chose from on the turtle beach website, so i want from personal experience, Thanks bros1

Turtle Beach X11 or X12, both good headsets for a decent price.

 

Can go with the official Xbox stereo headset or Turtle Beach XO One. Cheapest options for game and chat audio and almost completely wireless since they just need to be plugged into the controller. $80 I think and sometimes on sale for even less.

 

You have the low tier and middle tier recommendation above, now for the high tier recommendation:

Astro a40/50 or Astro Mixamp + Sennheiser PC 350 SE.

Turtle Beach X11 X12: Old, has noticeable white noise, was meant to be used for last generation Xbox 360 but is still compatible. Used to be very popular back then but nowadays its sound quality isn't good compare to today headset competitions. Biggest downside
is its cheap plastic that break in 6 months from regular wear. Good option if you don't want to hurt your wallet too badly and don't plan to hardcore game much. Still a good headset in the entry $40 range. X12 is compatible with PC while X11 isnt but has less
wires. X12 has wires all over the place.

Turtle Beach XO One: Awesome sound quality, white noise is barely noticeable. Pricing is a ripoff at $130 on Amazon. Surprisingly its not surround sound for such high price. Build quality seems great. Its comfortable and uses leather instead of cloth so
it doesn't absorb sweat for the trade off of your ear can't breath. Headset sometime squeak when you move your head though. Headset is specifically design for the Xbox One. Biggest con is again the whopping price of $130 at Amazon, $150 regular pricing. Pick
this if you want to max out on "official experience."

Astro A40/A50: Awesome build quality, awesome comfort, surround sound, and ok sound quality for its pricing. Only difference between the 2 is A40 is wired and A50 is wireless/slight sound delay. The Astro A40 was the most popular highest tier headset during
the Xbox 360 era and it is still popular today, but because of technology advancement its sound quality isn't amazing anymore compare to competition on its pricing tier.The A40 headset by itself cost $150 same as the X07 but is surround sound so that why the
sound quality is slightly less. The mixamp that comes with it is why it is price an extra $100 when bought in its bundle. You need the mixamp for the headset to be compatible with the console. At this high price range you expect everything to work flawlessly
but because of the Xbox stereo adapter you need the extra cable that comes with the stereo adapter to be able to use chat. Get this if you want to go all out and have sound advantage even to XO7 users. Pricing is at a whooping $250/$300.

Sennheiser PC 350 SE w/ Astro Mix AMP: If you want the best of the best of everything then you need to get creative with this combo. The Astro Mix amp are sold separately for $150 and work with most headset to become compatible with consoles. The Astro Mix
amp will also make any headset surround sound. Sennheiser PC is the best headset in the market in the $250 pricing tier, aa true high tier headset unlike the fake Astro A40 is being market as. The Sennheiser PC build quality, comfort, and sound quality are
all awesome. If you want the best of the best experience and have the sound advantage to even the 10 Astro users you will ever encounter in your entire gaming life, than the Sennheiser PC 350 SE w/ Astro Mix AMP will cost you a 2nd Xbox One or PS4 of a price
of $400.
