Personally don't care if Games With Gold are rentals, as Gold can usually be picked up for $39.99 a year; think there has only been a couple times I paid full price. Can't see M.S. changing their policy unless Sony does.

You can pay yearly or monthly upfront.

However I pay for mine monthly on direct debit and I pay for the ultimate package as well. Which has access to the Gamepass, which I think is good value for money.

As for paying for it, this has always been the way, since the Xbox 360.

How stupid. Money is money. They get it one way or another. Using money on your account should be allowed. I myself only want 1 month gold but it won't let me use any credit/debit cards and you can't get one month pre-paid cards. Just let us have our easy
