Good alternative controller for Xbox One

There are no good alternatives unfortunatelly.

These are anti theft.

I also tried hard wired 3rd party controllers, they work fine BUT you can't turn on/off the console with these controllers.

And this is needed, as the xbox-one console is in a closed drawer at the bottom of the kiosk.

as the warranty has expired you could try a local video game shop to see if they offer a repair service or if they know someone that does repair controllers.

a good cheap alternative to the Standard controllers are the Xbox One Afterglow wired controllers (about half the price of a Standard controller) only downside is that they are wired.

Something along the lines of the Dualshock in terms of shape might be up your alley. Go look at Mad Catz controllers maybe they've got something that could help.

For me the semetrical layout is the most natural. I've been using remote play and my wingman xb2 to use a playstation controller to play my games. I'm surprised xbox doesn't have a good alternative controller where as Sony has plenty of 3rd party options for a xbox layout. I did find one called 8bit on Amazon for 35 dollars that has semetrical joysticks but it's a wired controller. As you where saying when I pick up a controller my thumbs naturally rest at the middle position of the controller. Probably due to the fact I've been on playstation since the original. I have both consoles this generation and enjoy both I've just never been a fan of xbox controllers and wish there was a good option for a playstation style controller for xbox.
